FX and Windows-7 problems...?

I'm afraid this will not help, but I use Win7 here too (32 bit) and everything is fine with FX windows. So it can't be a general problem with Win7. Maybe it has something to do with Aero desktop settings? I use Aero basic, because I don't like the glassy looking transparent windows.
