Turbo question

Could anyone tell me if the turbo seals from a 16t turbo (V70 R AWD) fit a 15g turbo from phase 1 850 T5?

I sold this car after a very lengthy restoration, but it's just too pretty to remove from my sig.

RE: Turbo question

Hi Steve, can you be more specific about what seals you mean? Do you mean gasket type things around the outside of the turbo (e.g. manifold to turbo gasket, oil return line gasket) or seals inside the turbo's Compressor Housing Rotational Assembley? As far as I am aware, there is at least one difference in the 16T to 15G as the 16T uses the 'superback' flinger, not the 'flatback' flinger found on the 15G. I don't know if that affects the type of oil seal used though. Cheers, Pete

Ah, the things that look like copper washers, and you put one either side of the banjo attachments for oil feed, and coolant feed/return? That's useful to know they're the same. Cheers, Pete
