Thank you for the suggestions and will try opening that file on a friends computer as only have the (1) here with a dvd player/recorder on it. Not quite sure what you mean by decrypting it...all I am doing is transferring the VOB files into an editor to remove unwanted parts and rejoining it all back into a file for burning a new dvd. as for Programs used with this VOB file...they are as follows: Power DVD will not play the 2nd VOB file, but will the other (3) Xilisoft AVI will not open that file for editing/converting WinAVI same Magix Movie Edit Pro 11 same The error msg I get when I try to open this was File not detected or missing? Just tried and Windows media player does play all the dvd files. So not sure if my computer or the copy method. Did learn from that it is chapters 10-14 that is in the 2nd VOB file that I am having the problems editing. on a limited budget here so getting other programs to try at present time isn't an option, but will keep that one in mind for future reference. Hopefully this adds a bit more info for everyone to digest in regards to this problem.
