When I boot up a large session, it asks me to find a file. The search engine will not see the file but I can find them manually. When I click on the file it says Audio "XX" is of an unknow type. Please help me.

One way this error message can occur is if Pro Tools does not have enough memory. How much RAM do you have, and what is the rest of your system setup?

I have also try allocating more memory to the DAE, no such luck there either. I did read that someone allocated more memory to Pro Tools itself. I would like ot know how to do that also.
