Any tips on brake pipes

Hi, My 96 v40 failed its MOT on brake pipes and front discs.The discs were done this afternoon with a view to continuing on to replacing the pipes at the rear and the 2 pipes that run the length of the car.Going to tackle that later as time was against us.Any tips on getting this jumble of pipework off easily-apart from cutting it up,I want to use the old pipes as a template for the new. hi when i had my pipes done on my old v40 they had to lower the fuel tank as there are some clips that hold the pipes behind it. if you don't what to do that you could reroute the pipes good luck

Yeah it makes life easier to drop the tank, just be patient doing them

Thats unusual . Volvo dropped the kunifer copper brake pipes on the dutch products with the introduction of the 400 in 1986 bad move , they kept them on the Swedish cars though .

Well that was a total pig of a job-whoever designed the braking system on the s/v40 was having a laugh!Anyway job done-won't have to do that again-thanks for the advice.:lightbulb::lightbulb::thumbs_up:
