I have created an M2V(video) and AC3 (sound) using DVD2SVCD the total size of both added together is 4.5gb. I have played it on PowerDVD and it plays fine. How do I burn it onto a DVD+R??? Nero 5.5 will not recognise these formats and for some reason my computer freezes when using spruce up 1.1. How can I burn a DVD that will work on any stand alone DVD player? If not is there anyway of joining the two files to make an mpeg with video and auido?? THANKS:confused:
Sorry if I offended anyone. A couple of things: 1) I am a real newbie to this 2) I dont understand SVCD or DVD+R I am trying to copy a DVD to a good quality recording to go onto a DVD+R disk that will play on my DVD player. What do I need??? Thanks

I have read the guide but cannot find what I am looking for. Can anyone help me or if not point me in the right direction. Does anyone remember what being a newbie like???
Yes, I remember too. Ok, the guides here are excellent as Orbit-r says and you can put your files together (into an Mpeg) using TMPGEnc (see post by UltimateDBZ above). In order to get the sound though, you may have to change the file suffix from AC3 to MPA. I don't think you have a program that will read an AC3 file directly (at least it doesn't sound like it). TMPGEnc will compile them into an Mpeg file which can be burned by Nero or MYDVD. Note: You should really try using the guide for DVD though, rather than SVCD. Also, you can try vcdhelp.com. They have guides too and sometimes it helps to read a couple before it sinks in. Good Luck.
you say u have 4.5g, but dvd+r/rw will only allow u to put 4.37(or is it 8) on a disc, so u need to cut a little, maybe the end credits.
