Can REAPER do this? (automatic refresh of ASIO driver)

So every time I start up REAPER, I have to go into Preferences>Devices and re-select the ASIO DigidesignFW002 driver. Otherwise I get some strange glitchy sound from monitoring my inputs. So I'm wondering, is there a way for me to have REAPER automatically refresh the current driver I'm on? I'm thinking a macro or something like that... but I have no idea as I've never used anything to that level of REAPER customization. So maybe some of you pro REAPER hackers can help me out. :D

So you're saying I can just click the top right and then Ok, no need to re-select the driver from the drop down? That's good, that'll save me a few seconds. :D What could be causing this 'need' to refresh the driver though? Doesn't REAPER technically 'refresh' the driver on boot? I wonder if other people are having issues with their driver not detecting properly. Is there something we could possibly add to make crappy drivers more stable? I'd like to hear the devs speak on this one. :/

No, I'm saying that you should try that, maybe it works, maybe not (works for my MIDI driver for example). :)

I tried ASIO4ALL, didn't work out with the 002R... I guess I'll just have to be patient until I save up for an Aurora 16. :D

Well at least you can get your 002R to work with Reaper, after updating to 8.0.4 Reaper crashes when I select the DigidesignFW002 driver. Not exactly sure what the hell is going on... Reaper crashing for anyone else with this driver?

That is an easy one! :) Ditch the 002R once you have the money and save yourself a lifetime of troubles. And don't even think about Windows 7 with anything Digidesign, they drivers are horrible and are hit or miss, some people have not trouble others are at the verge of transforming their Digidesign gear in a physics experiment: "how far can an audio interface fly without touching the groud?" The 002R drivers are beyond hope and buggy as hell, they were never fixed which is ridiculous considering the price of that gizmo... :( ... sorry ... I got screwed with M-Audio Revolution once myself...7.1 mixing...right...when you f'n drivers stop crashing my machine maybe!
