Indeed - that's where the 'self extraction' comes in. Like those nifty little self-decompressing files you can send to people who don't have WINRAR. It would be one file, you'd click it, and an instance of Reaper would open complete with the project (and files) already loaded and ready to go. IMO, that would rock very, very hard for long-distance collaborations. I know it's easy to ZIP a project and the audio files etc, but (being involved in a band at the moment that swaps files back and forward as often as we have actual rehearsal time) I know that this is beyond the typical abilities of, say, a drummer or bass-player. Imagine if you just clicked 'file', then 'Reapress the project' (or whatever), and there was just this stand-alone file that could be opened on ANY PC, with no further software required... That would be sci-fi. That would rate at least 500 points.
