I'm new. which version should i get?

Please excuse my ignorance. i have a an imac, mac os x 10.6.8 I want to use reaper, but which one should i choose? 32 or 64 bit? Many thanks Dan

mac os x 10.6.8 is 64 bits... so you should take.. what ? let's say 64 bits !

I have both since they are separate applications in the application folder. And they both play nice, however I still mostly use 32bit option to avoid bridging of plugins. J

As previously stated, not a fan of bridging and I've had some problems with a few plugins in 64bit mode, so I'm hanging out in 32bit land for a little while longer. tg

Long story..ummm...medium length: I wanted to make some stupid joke about austerity measures and that I have to use less and only 2 types of recycled pixels for my avatar now, in a thread that turned some other direction right after I uploaded the pic. Then I realized that I overwrote the original instead of "save as" and that it wouldn't have been funny at all in first place and went out to get wasted. Later I figured that vintage look is becoming and gives it a more serious touch, maybe ultimately increasing my self-assertion powers in difficult threads, or making sure that any of my posts will actually be read, understood or put into action by everyone from now on. :D

Cats are always cute, no matter how many pixels. :)
