Is longer Digi001 interface cable in any way detrimental?

I would like to replace my current 3 or 4 ft cable that connects my Digi001 to my PC with a 15 to 20 ft cable. Could this cause any negative effects at all? Delays, latency, signal degradation, anything?

The heel of the 001 is that the power lines are right beside the digital lines, so the longer the cable the dirtier the power supply is, but really the damage is already done inside the computer itself, just like with any bus-powered interface. Either the power supply from the computer is reconditioned in the interface with a switching power supply (ie RME interfaces) or it isn't. If memory serves, the 001 only has passive noise filters. So the short version of all that is that the longer cable doesn't help, but go ahead.

I think he's saying it won't improve the situation but try and see how it works
