Can the metronome be panned

This is probably a really easy question to answer. I feel like I'll be in newbieland forever. Anyway, when I record vocals, I like to have headphones only on one ear. Is there a way to send the metronome just to that ear? If I send it to both, the metronome ends up bleeding into the mic.

In the metronome settings window you find an i/o button at the top (to the right of the label saying "Enable metronome"). Click and choose the mono output which leads straight into your ear.

or insert a click source (it's in the insert... menu) on a track and pan that.

Make your own metronome as a midi track. (or an audio track bounced down from a midi track) Much more flexible and you can make it do anything you want.

RE: Can the metronome be panned

One good function to be implemented in REAPER could be more options in the Metronome I/O window. Actually we only can adress the metronome signl for stereo L/R, for Left or Right. Is we could adress it for a track, by example, we could pan that track, take control over the metronome volume directly at the TCP or MCP, apply EQ for avoid bleeding low or hight frequencies for the mic, etc, etc. I believe this can be easily implemented and will be very usefull. Greetings.

If you're not listening to one side of the headphones you could also just turn that side off at the amp, either with the balance control or with a fader, depending on the setup.
