Is there only going to be a Windows 98 release ? - what about Win NT 4.0 and Win 2000 ?

I too would be interested in the possibility of a Win2K release or upgraded drivers for it. I built a dual celeron mombo overclocked system, blah, blah, blah and it sure would be great to use it! Since the 001 isn't full blown ProTools, I wouldn't think folks like myself would hesitate to buy into Mix or Mix/plus just because 001 ran under NT. (cash permitting) Host verses DPS chips is a no-brainer. Come on with our windows version!

hopefully we will never see a windoze release for ptle5 and digi 001. if digi does release this we will all be reading threads like "help! my almost-a-computer doesn't work as good as a mac!" don't believe me? check out am3 windows forum and windows troubleshooting forum. if you want a good machine, buy a mac. if you want to b*tch about how your machine doesn't work like a mac, buy a ibm. i rest my case.

amen to that -- I use both platforms to do multimedia stuff in my day job and if you want to *&*$# around with drivers, irq's, blue screen of death etc keep that pc, if you want to hit the record button and get to the end of a take without worrying (you know, make music), get a mac & fill it with ram. Indeed, check out the Windows AMIII threads, I certainly hope Digi have a new coder working on the drivers...
