I have used smartripper to rip a single chapter (song) from a Tina Turner DVD. I have ended up with a m2v & a ac3 file. I have no problems importing the m2v file into DVD Maestro but when I go to import the ac3 I get a "media detection" error. Anybody know how to fix this problem. Smartripper says the audio is 6 channel 48Khz I have imported quite a few ac3 files into Maestro before and after with no problems. Help appreciated. :(
Is it possible that your ac3 reports wrong frequency? Maestro complains with 'Media detection error' when there is an attempt to input out of specs files, or when u r importing an audio file in place of a subpicture in a menu or vice versa.
try to open it with besweet. In the whole suite there must be an informer file to let u know about the details. Or u can try bbmpeg tools. There is an bbinfo file there.
