Any keystroke or hot key to \"Maximize\" a window ?

Speaking of Mac OS X............so Command-M will minimize a window but is there keyboard shortcut to maximize a window (green + button)? I hate wasting time reaching down to the bottom right hand corner....just to manually click-drag-re-size the MIX or EDIT window so that it stretches itself properly across the entire screen. It's equally inefficient to keep commuting up to that tiny 'lil green button in the upper left hand corner. It's so tough being me. Any pre-existing keyboard shortcut? Any freeware that "adds-on" the functionality to create a simple "hot key" for MAXIMIZE ? Good Morning and Thanks,

I don't know the answer to that one but if you don't like wasting time like this, next time try holding "shift" while clicking the yellow button to minimize the window...
