You're absolutely right. I should have continued this on the thread I had already started and also read the advise there. Sorry. To busy... Thanks for the info about making interpretation of crash dumps easier etc. I experimented a bit: 1. I read in various posts here about Izoptope possibly creating crashes. I'm using Ozone 7 (the main module) now and then on the stereo mix bus. I took that plug out of the project and I could still see a few BSOD's here. SO I don't think it's Izo/Ozo. (BTW - the BSOD's could happen on several projects. Not just one specific project). 2. I had my RME BabyFace Pro connected to the same USB 2.0 hub as an Oxygen 25 keyboard (powered and midi signal via USB). I have my main big keyboard (Axiom) connected to the RME's Midi input. I unplugged the Oxygen 25 while Reaper was running. Resulted in a BSOD. 3. I no connected the RME BabyFace Pro to its own USB 2.0 port on my PC and tried to render and click cancel and click Izo in/out etc and be as abusive I could while things were running and also unplug the Oxygen while Reaper was starting (another scenarior where BSOD occured - unplugging Oxygen 25 from the hub WHILE Reaper was launching. 4. I also tried to remove the mp3 LAME file etc as advised above but could still see a BSOD. While I cannot claim I have found an explanation for the BSOD's here, I have not seen any BSOD's since I gave the RME Audio Interface it's own USB port and since I disconnected the Oxygen 25 from my system. Is it possible to draw any conclusions from the above...? MT So while
