How *not* to have inserted media resampled?

Just two shots in the dark: Do you by any chance have at "Project settings -> Audio Settings" "Align beats to samples" ticked? This could have some effect when working with such a long file, I reckon. The other one, as you were talking of .wmv, could be a video synchronisation error, although you've got only audio which could be audio of a video file. As Schwa wrote, the file-length is 4:10:29.220 seconds, which is 15029.220 seconds. If the file was recorded in sync with 29.97 fps and is now played back with 30 fps (for whatever reason), it will play only 15014,19078 seconds, which is 4:10:14.191, so I wouldn't be too surprised, if there is some correlation. -Data

Hi hope you can help, I have a similar problem to the one raised by the thread starter. I have a project with different time signatures and i'm trying to add a wav file from another source (zoom recorder)by inserting the media on a new track but it keeps shrinking the length of the recording. It only happens on the projects with different tempo changes. any ideas? Thanks
