Sounds really good Wolfman I think your method of recording has a lot going for it myself, I do exactly the same quite often - with a NT1a as well. If you can get an organic sound I don't see why you would want "separation". Nobody but a scientist wants to separate the colours of the rainbow. I do believe some folks get carried away doing things just because they can. Working with one mic on a single session forces you into performance mode, where capturing the moment is the only goal. Editing, balancing, mixing after the fact are pretty much out of the question, so every tiny bit must go into preparation and performance. This is to me a very worthwhile exercise, and one which you have pulled with some aplomb. Well done, BTW I had to listen hard for sibilance, and I don't think there anything to be concerned about - but if it bugs you I guess you have to try and fix it :)
