MIDI (MTC) into PTLE AMIII system

Hey all, I am running a PTLE 5.1 AMIII system on a B&W G3. There is no printer or modem port on my Mac, so my question is how do I get MTC into PT so I can sync to an external deck? I think I can use USB, but how does PT/OMS recognize the USB port? Thanks in advance.
