Audio Impressions AudioPort anyone?

Hi all, I just switched to Reaper on my macbook pro from an old version of DP (running on an old mac!). I have a station of Gigastudio, which is running on an XP box with a nice hammerfall sound card, but I have no way of getting the lightpipe audio into the MBP, so I thought I would try to use ethernet. Audio Impressions makes a product called 'Audio Port' which is made just for this, but as far as I can tell, it hasn't been tested with Reaper. I believe it's supposed to come up in your DAW as a VST. Anybody get this to work in Reaper? thanks Jon

It probably works fine, but we haven't officially tested it with Reaper... There are so many other variables that I would just recommend that you try the free demo first, to see if it works or not with your setup. You can download the demo here:

Hi, Just to report back: the Audio Port seems to function just fine in Reaper, but I never had any overall success because I found that my PC doesn't have a gigabit ethernet card! Not going to switch that out right now, but will try that one of these days. Will report back when I do. I have an idea that Reaper is not going to be the problem if there is one...
