gonna do my abs module tomorro resolder as the abs light is showin and was wondering if i need to loosen the battery off or anything??? also is it safe to drive without it on ?? another question if i drive without it on will it show the eml up??? cheers
does car need to go 20mph before it goes out any way? ive got problem with mine staying on but cuz its off the rd ive not driven it over 20mph,could that be my problem? thanks ps what bits do you actually solder?
This is not a job for amateurs. You'll need an E5 torx socket and 1/4" drive to remove the four bolts. Don't be tempted to use anything else or you'll regret in when you strip the heads... The entire ABS casing will then need to be carefully cut open. The silicone plastic stuff needs to be carefully separated from the circuit board and the soldering done most accurately and well. If its not something you are used to get an expert noluv see my reply to your other post on this topic... cheers

I'll see if I can borrow my mates lead and software. The ECU in my car certainly isn't OBDII compliant but the ABS ECU appears to be. I was able to get the typical rear right wheel sensor fault from mine when the soldering went kaput. My car is up and running btw :D
