How to? ReaControlMidi

Hello, I had posted earlier not specifically about ReaControlMidi and Darkstar was generous to answer. I still have a basic question: How do I (in very simple terms because I am a NOOB), create a MIDI track that can control a VSTi. I want to use a dedicated MIDI track to send all messages to a dedicated VSTi track? How do I do this and a very simple NOOB example please? :-) Much thanks in advance!

there is no MIDI track in REAPER, but when you insert ReaControlMIDI you can control all midi messages, as you'd expect from a MIDI track. insert a new track. right click on its label -> show MIDI track control for selected tracks. then set this plug to whatever you need. there is also in my signature some nice MIDI plugs that can help you.
