Track type appearence, multi out plugins.

If I have a session that has 64 tracks (audio, midi, instrument, multi out vst) things can get pretty confusing. Sure we can use templates to apply colours to tracks but I strongly believe midi, audio, instrument tracks should look in some way, different. By default. Example: I create a new track, turn it into a midi track, the look of the track changes automatically. Multiple outputs of a plugin should NEVER open new tracks in the arrange window. I don't understand how this is of any use to anyone apart from automation jobs. They should also appear different. The colour of a track only appears as a small strip (which is fine!), so maybe the appearance can differ by using different shades of the main body of tracks. If you know what I mean...

I get what you're saying. You can vote on this feature request: Which I believe is a step in the right direction. There's also multiple track layouts coming with Reaper 4. I am not sure if this also works for the TCP, but if it does, it might allow us to have different track appearance (and interface) for audio, midi and instrument tracks.
