The recently posted EchoFarm update is buggy in OS9. If you open several EchoFarm plug windows simultaneously (using shift+click on Plug-In) there is a memory error which suggests increasing the DAE memory allocation to a higher setting. Since the IS NO memory allocation for DAE when running PTHD (DAE is a lib, not an app) you can do nothing about it. Increasing the PT app memory allocation to a higher setting has no effect. The update works fine in OSX.
It says: "Memory space is low. Please quit and allocate more memory to DAE. Amp Farm graphics cannot display correctly with the memory available. (Reducing your monitor setting to 256 colors may help.)" Notice it says 'Amp Farm graphics', even though it is 'Echo Farm'
How many instances of Echo Farm and at what sample rates are you seeing the problem? Are you on HD or Mix hardware? Chris Hanson Digidesign 3P Developer Services
Ok, I am unable to repro this problem with either the CD installer or the web download verison of Echo Farm. I need to know more about your systems. OS,Hardware, etc. Also, how much memory do you have assigned to Pro Tools? Chris Hanson Digidesign 3P Developer Services

ok, the same message also for me. I'm running on PT 5.3.1 on 9.2.2 on DP G4 1GHz, HD + Magma 13, core+6 process, 3 192 I/O, + procontrol 32. Echo farm software web downloaded for X + 9.
Tweakhead, First thing I would suspect is that 200 mb is no way near enough memory for PT application. Peter
