440 Drivers Electric Window Not Working

Hi all, I have a problem with the drivers window on my 440 se 1993. The operating switch in the centre console doesn't make the window move, and if i go over any bumps or when i close the door, the window drops about 25 - 30mm and stays there, it doesn't drop any further and the only way to get the window back up is to push it back up by hand. Has anyone got any ideas what the problem is. Thank you

I've had similar problems on Fords. Lifting arm broken causing them to drop, raise at funny angles. It'll need replacing or at the very least a weld.

Hi, Over Easter i managed to find out what the problem was, it was a broken cable going to the regulator,(please see pics) Has anyone got a reasonably oriced regulator for sale?
