New Motherboard/CPU advice

Hello, I am using Digi 001 with an old version of PTLE. I want to update to v.6.4 and at the same time put a new MB/CPU combo in my machine. I am looking at the ASUS A7V600-X with an Athlon XP3000+. The chipset in the A7V600 is VIA KT600, which isn't listed anywhere in the Digidesign pages under maximum performance. Any advice on how good this board will perform, and/or recommendations for a different one? I am making the same changes to two different computers, so I want to make the right choices before making large purchases. Thank you.

I built a PC with the A7V600-x and it runs fine. AMD 2800+. Haven't tested it's max capabilities yet though. Shaun
