Anyone use fx magic music for burning a redbook compliant CD? It's seems like a legit and straight forward program, and its got a free trial... Is there any other freeware that does the trick? k

Any CD that will play in a regular player is Redbook Compliant. I've burned CDs is Win Media Player that have gone straight to the pressing plant. I say, unless you need unsual format conversion, don't bother.

hey, thanks guys. I just saw that sony has a free, fully functional 15 day trial for CD architect. Im going to give that ago, then compare it to the freeware options. Cheers, kris

"Any CD that will play in a regular player is Redbook Compliant. I've burned CDs is Win Media Player that have gone straight to the pressing plant." This is not correct. It may be playable but it's not Redbook Compliant. For that you need ISRC codes on the Q-track.
