MessageAuthor

using v5.12/64 on windows 7/64. on my system, when i select a file in the media explorer, the wave for doesn't appear until i play the file. is that normal? can it be changed to have it show on selection rather than on play? thanks, BabaG

RE: media explorer question

thanks for that, dstruct. almost couldn't find it. tried clicking all over, searching the options. eventually found that there is only a narrow area in the media explorer in which that particular menu with the suggested option shows up. at first i was trying to r-click the file display and waveform frames of the explorer, silly me. thanks again, very helpful, BabaG

RE: media explorer question

the funny thing is that the option doesn't appear in the obvious places to look, the wave window or file window.
