Hi Everyone again. Well, Thanks to all your help and the books I bought everything is working GREAT! 1 Problem.... When I bounce a song to disk I cant burn a copy of it with a cd burner. I bounce to disk no problem. Takes a couple times but finally bounces. I have bought a NEW burner AND software and that wasnt the problem. Can anyone tell me what bounce settings I should use just to make sure its right? My next step If I cant figure it out is to e-mail the file to another computer and try it. Thanks again and If this has happened to anyone else please let me know how you fixed it. Jay
sambora68 What CD burning app are you using ? For a standard, Red Book compatible audio CD, you must select; >16bit/44.1khz/stereo interleaved...save it in a directory. Open your burning pgm and import this file into it. As far as e-mailing goes...the wave file used to burn the CDR is large ~~30>80Mb/song. Usually this is converted to an MP3 file for sending. good luck,

Make sure you are bouncing to 16/44.1 and bouncing to BWAV Stereo Interleved.... that is the CD format needed. If you bounce to a different resolution you will need a third party software to do a sample rate conversion of your file. You can download R8brain for free... just scroll down the page.
Well, I tried all that at today lunch. No go. I have used EZ cd creator, WMP, Musicmatch to try to burn it and NOTHING works I dont get it. Im doing it correctly as you all say and the books say. What am I missing? Please let me know if you guys have any more ideas. Thanks again Jay
Ok, thanks again in advance. This is starting to get on my nerrrrrves Bounce to disk: Settings: 16/44.1 and bouncing to BWAV Stereo Interleved Saved it in its own directory. It plays with any wav file player with no problem. Go to burn and it says invalid media. The properties of the file look fine. Cant figure this out. If this helps I have to record it 2 times because the first time protools gave an error "your disk may be too slow or fragmented", so I redo it a 2nd time and it takes. Theres nothing wrong with the computer. It has nothing on it but Protools and musicmatch. Hope this helps out. Thank you Jay

The key statement there was invalid media, what CD-R are you using? did you try using a different disk, sounds like the CD-R is trying to write to a CD-RW or a bad CD-R. How many MB is the CD-R?
Its an Imation, CD-R 700mb/80min Im only burning 1 song. I have tried at least a dozzen disks. What I will do is try it again tonight and tell you the exact error its giving. Thank you again
What appl. are you using to burn ? Insert the blank media first, and open that pgm only after. Do you see the disc ? Also, select speed that is supported by the blank media..try 8X.. good luck,

well, Im using a few different programs. Musicmatch, Windows Media & EZ cd creator. I burn at 4x. I know my new burner will burn faster but I dont want to. I will try that insert disk first and open program, but I dont think that will work. Heck, Ill try anything right now Thanks again
