RE: Hmm couple of video issues.

I made this same post in the AGK forum because i didnt notice this forum im not sure where it belongs so i thought it should post it here also. Well latley when ever i use the xvid codec to encode using AGK when i play it on my DVD Player the video is all distorted and cant really make the picture out the audio is fine. I can never play xvids i encode my self but i can play most xvids i download from the net and i hate having to use divx to encode since its compression is not as good as xvid and sometimes when i convert a xvid to divx using agk the video is out of sync is anyone could please help me with any of these problems i would be gratefull. BTW my DVD Player is a Philips DVP642. Thank you so much!

Maybe try pressing Ctrl+F9 while being in AGK and activate "Standalone compatibility" option. Just try it and see if it helps :)

For those of you with the Phillips DVP642, try hitting the system menu button (on the remote) twice. Once will bring up the system menu (Not the disk menu) and again will bring back the movie. It should play fine from that point on. I forgot which one the system menu button is, i think it's the left one but not sure.
