RE: slow playback

after nosing around the DUC for awhile, i went back to my studio, reopened the same session, it ran slow and flat, turned on the ADATs, and it runs at the right speed and pitch. went into hardware setup and set the clock to internal, then it ran slow again. this doesn't seem right. i shouldn't have to have ADATs hooked up for proper speed, should i? thanx again.

RE: slow playback

this is me answering my own question for those who run into this. a friend figured it out for me. i opened the digital audio engine in settings (DAE), and reset it from 44.1 to 48k, then to internal sync instead of optical. all's well. hope this averts some headaches.
