RE: Problems with interlaced music video

I've had this problem with just about every music video I've ever done. Assuming NTSC (you can manually "open" the first VOB into DVD2AVI and "save project" viewing the info on the side). Now on the DV2AVI tab in DVD2SVCD, check ForceFilm Off. On the Conversion tab, try Blend Fields (or Smart Deinterlace which is slower). And hit go. Try a chapter first. Good luck PS The above may not work but it is worth a try. It always works for me on concert videos.

RE: Problems with interlaced music video

Thanks for the info! I've already done a few encodings and the one that gave me the best results was IVTC, bicubic 0.6 and 6 pass in CCE. I know that more than 4 passes are virtually worthless in some cases but they seemed alright here, anyway I'm gonna try your recommendations. Thxs a lot!
