The new theme is beautiful! One thing though: If you have the background of the items in a custom colour, then the midi notes in the selected item cannot be seen (or hardly). Regards, fladd

First of all! Would like to send a warm thumbs up to Cockos Team for their amazing work. We definitively can see how Reaper 3 is going to be, simply amazing. This verison is amazing for me and love the new theme, great work to Mr WT!!! I have a quick question though, working with automation, adding point values but always wonder how come i can not with the mouse just select by simply passing the mouse through the points i want without having to be in the Lane of the Volume track and then have them selected? I'm noticing you absolutely have to be select the Volume track to be able to select the points you want. Normally i'm suppose to just select the points i want just by doing the action of Selection right? I know in Nuendo i don't have to have my mouse in the Volume or Pan track to do so Other then that man... i feel like Reaper is coming its way big time.. love the fact now that you have seperate Automation lane track for each like Volume, Pan etc.. not all stack up in the Wave form!! It looks like i will be mixing a record that i'm working on in Reaper end of April next year!! KUDOS!!!!! EDIT: By the way still playing with the automation selection Points and its honestly driving crazy. Its just too difficult. You don't know exactly when and how you are supposed to selected to points. And the worst is that let's say i select 4 points and normally when you click your mouse away any where in the working area, those point should be Unselected anymore. Well they are still selected? Is this normal or am i doing something wrong? Would like to learn the approach!! Thank you
I haven't spent a hell of alot of time with this pre-release yet, but I have to say that I like it so far. I love the new theme - it's like it was designed for me. Gorgeous, dark and has that beautiful green color I love. Needless to say, this default will probably become my default. I like the flexibility of the envelope lanes and I really like the synchronised midi editor view. There is now a compelling reason for me to work with the midi editor docked rather than in a separate window. Looking forward to seeing where this goes. Regards Caleb
In the ACP when you have a Volume automation lane and you click on "Volume" and you select write mode it puts pan also in write mode. Shouldn't it just put Volume in write mode and leave all the other parameters at their previous automation setting? It only seems to do this on the first pass.
If you insert a new track, open the automation envelopes panel and select "arm none", select volume to show the volume automation lane, click "Volume", select write mode, volume is selected and visible, but shouldn't it also be armed. (without having to push the ar button in the automation control panel) Also the x for selecting arm and the ar button in the acr are not in sync. The ar button toggles the X but the X does not change the ar button even after you close the box.
Would it be possible to completely remove the envelope when clicking on the x in the acp? At the monment is disappears from the gui but is still active. This would be a great way to reset and start again. Cheers Jed
