Using BCR2000 to Control Plugins

MessageAuthor

Hello ! I'm trying to use a BCR2000 to control plugins such as EQ, COMP... I can send midi from BCR2000 to plugins via the LEARN function, and plugins respond without a problem, but the thing is, if i change the plugin settings from reaper, with my mouse, the BCR2000 does not receive any info, and doesnt update with current values... What can i do >.<

IIRC, the plugins have to support MIDI-Control feedback/MIDI Out capability (or something along those lines, don't know what it's called correctly in english). Otherwise the controller couldn't know which settings to adjust. And don't forget to route the MIDI Out of the VST(i) to the correct MIDI-Port, where your controller is connected to. Hope this helps, Raphael ;)

Yeah, I'd say parameter feedback for plugins is not yet implemented. But don't quote me on it, since I haven't tried for a long time. (btw you mixed up the quotes... :))

What a disappointment, is this function going to be supported in reaper in the future ?
