Si, senor black market. It's fine. I had downloaded the revised version, saved it by accident into a different folder, and reinstalled the original version 3. I just found the newer one and, sure enough, the marquee selection works fine. Late night user error (of the version confusion type...).
Pretty cool new theme and GUI Especillay the possibility to have each automation curves in a dedicated "track". One small problem for me about that is that if one clicks on the arrow that makes a curve appear on the "parent track" (I mean, the track to which it's dedic ated, not the "parent" in the Reaper mixing meaning of the word) and not on a dedicated one, you can not put it again in a dedicated one anymore (or maybe I missed the manipulation). Apart from that, this automation curve issue was one of my personal top 3 issues on Reaper, thanks and congrats guys for having reorganized it this way !
The new timebase function in the Midi Editor would be useful as a project setting, so we can open projects with synced (for example) as a default. Same could be said for reuse this editor, and sync with main timeline. Alex.

Not sure if this is intentional. If a default project has 2 bars before 1 (-1 in project settings), and during the course of the project, i decide i want to change the project setting to '0', then the items already present don't adjust to keep a constant bar number. So a flute item that commences on Bar 1 with a -1 project setting, is then 'shifted' to bar 2, if the project setting is reset to 0, during the course of a piece, not adjusted to stay at Bar 1. I should imagine this would be true for the time (minutes/seconds) based timeline as well. Ok i suppose if the whole piece is affected, but if i want to insert a 2 pop or vocal or vid cue, for example, as extra bars or seconds at the beginning of a project, but retain a neutral start point at Bar 1, or 3.00 seconds (another example), then i'm gonna need to readjust the whole work, for sync purposes. Alex.
