Besliced not working to fix ac3 file

I have extracted a wav from an Xvid using goldwave and then I renamed the extension to ac3. I dropped it onto besliced and besliced didn't fix the file like it ussually does. Instead it ony oped the besliced.txt window and it stayed blank. Nandub couldn't handle the audio extraction. I used G-spot and it said that the audio is a 5.1 suuround ac3. Any suggestions?
